Seeing that my blog is in utter chaos, I shall try to instill some sense of order by starting a... what's the word... series? A series of blogs with a common theme. So far I can't think of anything but listing stuff I like and hate, so this will have to do for now. Of course, all the credit for this wonderful idea goes to mememolly, although she only got to letter c I think.
I like AMPERSANDS

I never knew this, but & comes from "et" which means "and" in French and Latin. If you look you can see the e and the t! I hate those who simplify the beauty of an ampersand to a simple cursive "E". If you're going to use the "and" sign, please do it correctly. Or at least, that's what I think.
Apparently I'm not the only one who likes ampersands (meme does too), since there's a club named after it called "Club Ampersand" in New Orleans http://www.clubampersand.com/, and they got really creative with their logo, it's an ampersand. This reminds me of a store in Quebec that's called Pentagon and their logo is a pentagon... I don't know why but I found it ridiculously hilarious at the time. I still kind of do.
I HATE the word AMPERES.

It is just such an ugly word to pronounce. So...I want to say anglophone but I don't think that's an appropriate word, coming from me.
