It never ceases to amaze me the clever nature of children. My two young cousins (age 5 and 3) are living with my right now, and I can't help but notice just how amazing kids are! Equally astonishing, is their ability to make a game out of just about anything... even the most boring things like PILLOWS. Another thing I've come to realize is how CUTE french speaking toddlers are! Using subjonctif (which, mind you, I just learned RECENTLY), si clauses, to-die for expressions... like "NATHAN, il faut que tu restes ici, D'ACC?" or "tu n'es pas faim, en!" (you're not being very nice). Anyhow, I just think it's amazing to hear such eloquent speaking from tiny little babies.
I also think it's AMAZING that kids these days (haha grandma talk here it comes) just KNOW how to work technology. You give them a remote with about a gazillion buttons, and without knowing how to read, they know how to work the remote better than I do! They already know how to lower/increase the volume with ease, put it on "video 1" to play a DVD and they already memorized the channels which have their favourite shows ! Just awe-inspiring.
