Top 5 signs that the person you're talking to is not interested or listening

1. He or she says "that's funny" after everything you say, without laughing or smiling.
2. Midway an anecdote, they curiously ask whether you got your necklace from Forever 21.
3. Their Blackberry goes off and they say "sorry" but continue to text anyways.
4. They decide that while you're talking, you won't be able to see them picking off the lint on their clothes.
5. Your rant sessions become theirs, and no, not in a good way. (However, I have found that "Sister I've been there" type sympathy is quite nice at times. Of course, more challenging if you're not a black female)

I'm guilty of probably 4/5 but I'm workin on it.
