I re-kindled my love for the song "I started a Joke" by the Beegees. When I think of my childhood, this is the song I think of... it was the first song I every danced to (I saw the tape of it, it was not pretty), the song of all the Chistmases, birthdays, communions, baptisms... everything! I heard it recently on the radio and I just felt a blast of nostalgia creeping up on me.
I searched up the lyrics of the song, and it really isn't such a pleasant song after all. I don't know who's idea it was to play this song at all the family functions, but I'm pretty sure this song is about death. Good choice, mom and dad, good choice. I'm sure you can tell the gatherings we had were quite the par-tay.
